Man Arrested After Gun Seized At Pittsburgh Airport
A Pennsylvania man was arrested after attempting to get a gun through a security checkpoint at Pittsburgh International Airport.

MOON TOWNSHIP, PA —Allegheny County police have filed charges against a man from Warren PA after a firearm was discovered at the main security checkpoint at Pittsburgh International Airport.
Transportation Security Administration officers on Tuesday observed a 9mm handgun within a passenger’s backpack at the main security checkpoint of Pittsburgh International Airport and alerted Allegheny County Police.
County police identified the passenger as Jeremy Snell, 36. They determined Snell did not possess a valid concealed carry permit. Snell is facing one felony charge of carrying a firearm without a license. The Federal Bureau of Investigation was also notified.

Passengers who bring firearms into an airport security checkpoint can face federal civil fines from the TSA up to $10,000. Repeat offenders can be fined up to $13,910.
