Moon Police: Man Arrested After Maple Street Extension Crash

A man was charged with drug possession following a one-vehicle crash on Maple Street Extension in Moon Township.Â
Lucas McCormick, 31, of Moon Township, was charged with driving under the influence of a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and careless driving, according to police.Â
Police said McCormick's Ford F-350 crashed into several metal mailbox poles just after 9 a.m. Jan. 29. No one was hurt in the crash.Â

Moon Township Police responded to the following recent incidents and made the following recent arrests. Each item is a reflection of police records and does not indicate guilt or a conviction.Â
- Marcus R. Geiser, 39, of Ambridge, was charged with felony deceptive or fraudulent business practices and receiving advance payment for services and fails to perform. He was served a warrant on the charges on Feb. 3, stemming from a December incident, according to a criminal complaint.Â
Police said Geiser, who is a contractor, secured a $2,500 deposit for roof work at Angelia's Pizza on Moon Clinton Road. Management at the restaurant contacted police when Geiser failed to begin work on the project and could not be contacted about returning his payment.Â

- Marshall Paul Dwyer, 24, of Moon Township, was charged with two counts of driving under the influence of a controlled substance at 3 a.m. Feb. 1 near Flaugherty Run Road.Â
- Myon Edell Braggs, 39, of Aliquippa, was charged with possession of marijuana and obedience to traffic controlls at 3 a.m. Jan. 31 following a traffic stop near Sheetz on University Boulevard.Â
