Pittsburgh University Student Athlete Dies In Crash
A student athlete at a Pittsburgh university was killed early Sunday when her vehicle rolled over.
MOON TOWNSHIP, PA — Robert Morris University is mourning the death of student athlete Kaylee Ogea, who died in a vehicle accident on Sunday.
Ogea was a rising sophomore who was a member of the Colonials rowing team and Division 2 club hockey team. Authorities said she lost control of her vehicle on Interstate 70 near the West Virginia state line around 3 a.m. on Sunday.
Ogea, 18, of North Carolina, also was an ROTC cadet and was associated with RMU's Women's Leadership and Mentorship Program.

"Kaylee's dedication, leadership, and spirit were evident in all that she did. Kaylee's loss is felt deeply by all who had the privilege of knowing her," said Robert Morris President Michelle Patrick said in a university release. "She was a cherished member of our university family, and she will be sorely missed."
Funeral arrangements were not immediately available Tuesday.
