As winter’s snowy months approach, Dan Manius, Assistant Manager-Public Works and Parks Department, would like to remind residents of some do’s and dont’s that will make snow removal safer and more efficient in the Township.

- Cars parked along roads during snowfall can impede snow removal. Township Ordinance 280-33 states that there is to be no parking along roads between the hours of 2:00 a.m. and 8:00 a.m.
- Please help us help you, and don’t push snow into the streets! Not only is it dangerous, it’s illegal.
- If you need to travel, allow extra time and be sure to yield to salt/plows trucks. Our truck drivers are the best of the best but giving them extra time and space in which to maneuver can make an extremely challenging job less so.
- Be reminded, when snow is falling, visibility can be difficult. Drive accordingly and stay safe!
Additionally, we often receive inquiries from residents about which entities maintain which Township roads. While Robinson Township Public Works maintains most roads in our Township, some roads are maintained by PennDOT or Allegheny County Public Works.

- Beaver Grade Road
- Ewings Mill Road
- Forest Grove Road (from Rt. 51 to Silver Lane)
- McCormick Road
- McMichael Road
- Petrie Road
- Route 51
- Route 60/Steubenville Pike
- Montour Run Road
The following roads are maintained by the Allegheny County Department of Public Works:
- Baldwin Road
- Campbells Run Road
- Clever Road
- Forest Grove Rd. (from Silver Lane to the I-79 overpass)
- McKees Rocks Road
- Bayer Road
- Old Beaver Grade Road
