Driver Escapes Injury In Upper Makefield Rollover Crash

Police have determined that speed wasn't a factor in the one car crash Tuesday morning on Windy Bush Road.

UPPER MAKEFIELD, PA — A driver escaped injury Tuesday morning after their vehicle left the roadway, rolled over, and crashed through a fence.

Police said the crash happened between 8 and 9 a.m. in the 2800 block of Windy Bush Road when the driver fell asleep at the wheel, drifted off the roadway, and struck a storm drain, which caused the vehicle to roll over.

Upper Makefield Police determined that speed was not a factor in the crash.

As a result of the crash and an investigation by police, the roadway was reduced to one lane for a brief time.
