'Extraordinary Heroism'
Officer Peck’s actions also caught the attention of Bucks County Congressman Brian Fitzpatrick who praised Peck’s “extraordinary heroism.
“Penndel Borough Police Officer Sean Peck acted without hesitation, charging into a burning home through heavy smoke to bring eight of our neighbors to safety. His swift, selfless action prevented what could have been an unthinkable tragedy, and our community is profoundly grateful.”
Fitzpatrick also thanked the Penndel Volunteer Fire Company and the responding Bensalem fire crews, “who skillfully and tirelessly worked under extremely dangerous conditions to contain the fire.

They have the full strength of this community behind them — and we are forever grateful to every PA-1 first responder who chooses courage over fear to safeguard the people they serve.”
Officer Peck grew up in Newtown where he was an active member of the Boy Scouts through his senior year in high school. Following graduation from Council Rock North, he joined the U.S. Army.
