Man Stole Credit Cards From Newtown Athletic Club Locker Room: Police

The credit cards stolen from NAC members were later used for thousands in purchases at a mall Apple store, police said.

NEWTOWN, PA — Someone stole credit cards from the Newtown Athletic Club locker room and used them to spend more than $8,000 at the Apple store, Newtown police said.

The credit cards were taken March 15 around 1:15 p.m., according to the Newtown Township Police Department.

"A short time later that same day the stolen credit cards were used to purchase merchandise at the Apple Store inside the Willow Grove Mall for a total loss value of $8,263.76," police said.

Police provided footage of the man from that Apple store.

He appears white and middle-aged, and was wearing a blue shirt and glasses at the time.
