5:30 p.m. — Police responded to McCaffrey's Market when someone reported that a customer tried to use counterfeit currency before leaving the shop. Soon after, police responded to Dogs and Cats Rule for a similar report. An investigation is ongoing.
Monday, April 4

12 p.m. — A Newtown Township resident came to police headquarters to report a fraud involving altered checks. An investigation is ongoing.
Tuesday, April 5
6:30 a.m. — Police were dispatched to the parking lot outside Orange Theory Fitness for a report of three cars that were broken into. An investigation is ongoing.
Thursday, April 7
7 p.m. — Police were dispatched to ACME for the report of an attempted theft. A man tried to take beer but returned it. He was told not to come back to the store.
