NEWTOWN TOWNSHIP, PA — The new Wawa store at Lower Silver Lake Road and the Newtown Bypass will be giving away free cups of coffee through Sunday, August 3 as part of its grand opening celebration.

Wawa opened its newest store in Bucks County on Thursday, filling a key gap in its service area.

For years, the convenience store chain had its eye on the Newtown area, the only larger community in Bucks County not served by the Southeastern Pennsylvania-based chain. The closest stores to Newtown are in Yardley Borough and Richboro.

Wawa also carries more than 6,000 items, including groceries, tobacco, and candy.
