Bomb Threat Forces Evacuation of North Allegheny Intermediate High School

Students were taken to the senior high school as a precaution.

Bomb sniffing dogs were brought in after a bomb threat was discovered Monday morning in a boys bathroom at North Allegheny Intermediate High School, according to the district's web site.

The message said "12:00 Bomb," the district said. "We do not believe it was there prior to the school opening."

The district said students were taken to North Allegheny Senior High School beginning at 10:30 a.m., and that there would NOT ben an early dismissal of students.

Parents were notified of the threat in a phone call from the district.

McCandless Police are investigating.
