4. Free Computer Classes for You (Tube) and More

Tuesday, Oct. 8, 2 p.m., Northland Public Library. Grab your ear buds and get ready to YouTube, a website owned by Google on which users can upload, view and share videos of various content including music videos, movie clips, TV clips and original video.  Learn how to create an account, subscribe to YouTube, search for favorites to create your very own playlist and more in this free YouTube for Beginners class at Northland Library. More info here.  

5. Indian Cooking Class: Mint Rice

Thursday, Oct. 10, 7 p.m. Northland Public Library. Ann Manchella returns to Northland Library to demonstrate the preparation of Mint Rice, a fragrant mixture of rice cooked with fresh mint and special spices. Combined with a tomato chutney, the dish is perfect for busy families. As always,  enjoy a tasty sample at the conclusion of this ever-popular free cooking class.
