North Allegheny Hall of Fame of Inductees Announced

The North Allegheny School District recently announced it Hall of Fame inductees for the 2013 class. The inductees and special award recipients will be honored at the annual Hall of Fame Banquet being held on October 3, 2013. The North Allegheny Hall of Fame Class of 2013 honorees are:


• Jake Jopling (2001) 
• Jill Dorsch (2003) 
• Rachel Divosevic (2006) 
• Jake Herbert (2003) 
• Mieke Weissert (1990) 
• Jenny Mackay (1993) 
• Scott Kofmehl (1999) 
• Molly Friel (2004) 
• Andy Dobies (2001) 
• Corky Semler (Coach) 

In addition, the Hall of Fame Association will honor Mrs. Maureen Grosheider with the Joseph Drazenovich Award for Legendary Service and Mrs. Jill Guthrie will be bestowed the Bob Miller Award for outstanding support of North Allegheny athletics. Mr. Jim LeDonne will be given the Distinguished Coaching Service Award.

The following individual and team PIAA State Champions will also be acknowledged:
• 2013 Football Team
• 2013 Boys’ Water polo
• 2013-14 Ice Hockey Team
• Zach Buerger – 200 Yard Individual Medley & 500 Yard Freestyle
• 1982 Football Team – As recognized by the Pennsylvania Media

The 17th Annual Hall of Fame Banquet will be held on Thursday, October 3, 2013 at 5:00pm at The Chadwick in Wexford. Tickets are available in the North Allegheny Senior High School Athletic Office: $40 for Hall of Fame Members and $45 for Non-Members.
