North Allegheny Intermediate High School to Present “Fame – the Play”
"Fame – the Play" is based on the 1980 musical film that told the story of several high school students attending the New York Academy of Performing Arts.

The North Allegheny School District is proud to announce that students from the North Allegheny Intermediate High School will present “Fame – the Play” on Thursday, Feb. 21; Friday, Feb. 22; and Saturday, Feb. 23; at 7:00 p.m. All performances will be held in the NAI Auditorium, 350 Cumberland Road. All tickets are $6.00 and can be purchased at the door.
Students will also offer a special Senior Citizens’ Gold Card Performance on Wednesday, Feb. 20 at 3:30 p.m. This performance is free to senior citizen residents of the North Allegheny School District who have a Gold Card. For information about the NASD Gold Card Program, please call 412-369-5445.
“Fame – the Play” is based on the 1980 musical film that told the story of several high school students attending the New York Academy of Performing Arts. Among them are fame-obsessed drug addict Carmen, ambitious actress Serena, wisecracking comedian Joe, quiet, saintly violinist Schlomo, and "talented but dyslexic" dancer Tyrone.
