Peebles Road Reopens
The road had been closed between Hemlock Drive and Presidential Drive since Nov. 27.
A project to improve drainage on a section of Peebles Road in McCandless is now complete and the road is now reopen.
PennDOT had hoped to have Peebles between Hemlock Drive and Presidential Drive reopened by early Janaury. It had been closed since Nov. 27.
About 3,228 vehicles use this section of Peebles Road on an average day, according to PennDOT.
