History for Sale? Parts of Highland CC on Craigslist

"It's a real shame," said John Schalcosky, President of the Ross Historical Society. "I supposed the demolition company has the right to sell anything it wants, but it's hard to watch the original Reel Family home get torn apart bit by bit, and sold to the highest bidder."
Demolition of the former clubhouse and swimming pool began several weeks ago.
Limerick Land Partners wants to build 167 townhouses and 134 single family homes on the grounds of the old country club.
