Tonight is Deadline for North Hills Community Swim Program Registration

Registration for the 10-week program, for children and adults, will be Feb. 7 from 6-8 p.m. in the North Hills Junior High School large group instruction room.

Registration for the 10-week North Hills Community Swim Program is scheduled for Feb. 7. The program includes swimming and diving lessons for children and adults and a lifeguarding class. 

Children’s lessons will be on Saturdays beginning Feb. 18. Adult lessons are scheduled for Monday evenings beginning March 5. The community swim program utilizes the American Red Cross certification program and offers instruction for preschoolers through level VI.

The cost is $40 for parent/toddler classes and $55 for other swimming and beginning diving lessons. Advanced diving is $125.

There will be lifeguarding classes from 6:30-9:30 p.m. Wednesdays and from 7:30-10 a.m. Saturdays, Feb. 29 to May 9 at.

Participants must be age 15 by April 24. The cost for the program is $190. The prerequisite swimming test will be from 7:15-7:45 p.m. Feb. 22.
