Patch Pets: Despite Life's Challenges, Dervish is Happy, Outgoing and Playful
Animal Friends' Humane Officer found him suffering from neglect in a hoarding situation.

Meet our outgoing and ever-adaptable fellow, Dervish.
Dervish is a handsome one-eyed, 11-year-old, white and black domestic short-haired cat.
Animal Friends' humane officer confiscated Dervish after the cat was found suffering from neglect in a hoarding situation. In spite of the challenges in his life, Dervish is a happy, outgoing lap cat. Dervish loves people, dogs and other cats (especially Damsel, Dapple, and Dainty, with whom he lived).

Dervish will always sound a little bit congested, but it is nothing to be alarmed about. He is not on any medicine and just needs to have his nose wiped regularly. It does not slow him down one bit.
He loves playing with all cat toys, especially wand toys, catnip, scratching posts, laser pointers and most of all toy rattle balls.

Dervish would be a great fit for practically any household. He can adjust to a home with dogs, other cats or children. He has been neutered, micro-chipped and is up-to-date on vaccinations.
