PennDOT Restricts Sewickley Oakmont Road through March 9

Traffic is being reduced to a single lane alternating use in the work area from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. weekdays.

Work to replace an inlet and cross pipe on Sewickley Oakmont Road will continue through March 9, with traffic reduced to a single lane alternating use in the work area from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. weekdays, according to PennDOT District 11.

The work began Wednesday. 

Motorists should use caution and be aware of changing traffic patterns when driving through the area.

The contractor performing the work is Michael Facchiano Contracting Inc. of Pittsburgh. 

PennDOT reminds motorists that they can log on to 511pa.com or call 511 from any phone to check traffic conditions on major roadways before traveling.
