Rita (Abdel) Duffy

Rita (Abdel) Duffy, 58, of West View, formerly of Chicago, died suddenly Saturday, Feb. 25, 2012.
She was the wife for 24 years of the late Robert "Bob" W. Duffy; mother of Alexandra; daughter of Ruwydia (Hassan) and the late Farah Abdelaziz; and sister of Warda Abdel, Hend Herman, Fatma Abdel, Marym Zegar, Jamela Bonior and Jamal Abdel.
Friends will be received from 1-4 p.m. and 5-8 p.m. Wednesday at , 388 Center Avenue in West View. Services will be at 4 p.m. Thursday in Mars Alliance Church, 997 PA 228, Mars. Please meet at the church.

Duffy took pleasure in the small things in life, creating jewelry and relaxing with Bob. She was a soft-spoken and helpful woman who was deeply devoted to her husband and daughter. She will be greatly missed.
