Area 4 Democrats Open Campaign Office

Local HQ coming to Collegeville this weekend.

Area 4 Democratic Committee released the following information:

The Area 4 Democratic Committee proudly announces the opening of the Area 4 Democratic Campaign Headquarters at 486 E. Main Street in Collegeville on Sunday, May 27, from 3 to 5 p.m.

The headquarters will be the local hub for campaign activities to re-elect President Obama and to elect Kelly Devine to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives in the 150th District. The office is located at the same site as the 2008 Obama campaign office. Members of the community are invited to attend the opening and to volunteer to help with phone banking, canvassing, data entry and other tasks. Office are to be announced.

 “We are extremely pleased to be opening the local campaign headquarters for Democratic candidates. This is the first time our committee has ever run a campaign office. We hope to have the support of the community,” said Kevin Dunbar, chair of the Area 4 committee, which covers Collegeville, Limerick, Lower Providence, Royersford, Skippack, Trappe, Upper Providence and Worcester.

“I’m very excited to be sharing this office in Collegeville with the volunteers for the Area 4 Democrats and the campaign to re-elect the President. I’m looking forward to continuing my conversation with voters in the area by having a convenient location in the local community,” said Devine. The 150th district includes Collegeville, Trappe, Upper Providence and portions of East Norriton, Lower Providence, Norristown and West Norriton.
