Collegeville Man Jailed for DUI

Reports: Traces of morphine and cocaine in his system

Timothy Blaine, 55, of Collegeville was sentenced this month to six to 23 months in Montgomery County Correctional Facility in connection with his second DUI-related offense, according to a report from The Times Herald.

Blaine will also face three years of probation and must use an ignition interlock system for 18 months, the article states.

According to the article: "An investigation of Blaine began about 1:20 a.m. March 5, 2008, when West Pottsgrove police on routine patrol noticed Blaine working on a car on a parking lot at the rear of a business in the 800 block of West High Street, according to the arrest affidavit. Blaine 'seemed to be incoherent and was mumbling to himself' as police asked him questions about why he was at the location and inquired if he needed assistance."

The criminal complaint stated that Blaine admitted taking pain medication, for which he didn't have prescription, and consuming cocaine on a previous day, according to the article.
