Two skydivers were taken to trauma centers after landing on the runway at Perkiomen Valley Airport rather than their designated landing zones, according to Skippack Fire Chief Haydn Marriott, who was among the emergency personnel at the scene.
According to early, unofficial reports, two skydivers were "taken up by the wind" as they were coming in for landings, and then fell.
Marriott did not know the extent of the injuries. One person was Medevaced from the scene, and the other was taken by ground, he said.
