WATCH: Perkiomen Valley 5th Graders Sing National Anthem At Phillies Game

Local kids did the area proud before a crowds of tens of thousands of Phillies fans.

PERKIOMEN VALLEY, PA — Kids within the Perkiomen Valley School District had a once in a lifetime opportunity earlier this baseball season at Citizens Bank Park.

Skippack Elementary School's 5th Grade Chorus was chosen to sing the National Anthem before the Phillies game on April 17.

The chorus of 88 students performed admirably, representing for the Perkiomen area on live television before thousands of viewers.

The Phillies, properly inspired by the Skippack kids, beat the Rockies that day, 7-6.
