Perkiomen Valley School District Closed Due To Storm

Road closures, bridge closures, significant flooding, power outages, and other impacts led to school closures in Montgomery Co. Wednesday.

PERKIOMEN VALLEY, PA — Perkiomen Valley School District has shut down Wednesday due to the major storm sweeping through the region bringing with it flooding, power outages, and significant delays on the roads.

"Due to local flooding and ongoing challenges resulting from heavy rainfall, including multiple bridge and road closures, PV will be closed today, Wednesday, January 10," the school said in a statement. "Note: after school events and activities are cancelled (this includes evening activities, sporting events and practices, band/music practice, and community education classes/activities.) Dr. Russell's Superintendent Roundtable will be rescheduled. Stay Safe, PV!"
