Police: Medical Condition May Have Played Part in Crash

An incident report does not signify a conviction. All accused are innocent until proven guilty.

According to a report, Danielle Jarota, 27, was driving west in the 300 block of Main Street, and as her Chevrolet HHR “arrived in the area of Apian Way, it traveled onto the sidewalk” and crashed into a utility pole.
“It is likely that this crash was due, in part, to a medical condition,” the report states.

Norristown Man Accused of DUI
Pennsylvania State Police stopped Brian Law, 21, on Stump Hall Road at Anders Road, Skippack, at nearly 1:40 a.m. March 24 for driving in an erratic manner, according to a report.
Law allegedly “exhibited signs of being under the influence of alcohol,” the report states. He was arrested after field sobriety tests were administered, police said.

Man Allegedly Stole Sunglasses from CVS
A Collegeville man will face charges in connection with a retail theft incident at the around 4 p.m. March 20, according to Pennsylvania State Police.
According to a police report, Craig Maxwell Geyer, 41, took a pair of sunglasses, worth $18.99, from the store and then allegedly left the store without paying for them. Geyer was arrested at the scene when he returned for a prescription medication, according to the report.

Pottstown Woman Accused of Retail Theft
Kara Lynne Palladino, 34, of Pottstown, faced retail theft charges in connection with an incident at in Trappe on Feb. 25, according to a Pennsylvania State Police report.
Palladino allegedly took a bracelet from a display stand at the store and left without paying. Police report Palladino “was positively identified inside (the store).”
Charges were filed at , police said.

Perkiomen Township Resident Reports Fraud Case
Pennsylvania State Police are asking for information related to an access device fraud incident that occurred sometime between Feb. 21 and 25, according to a report.
An unknown person or people used a Perkiomen Township woman’s credit card information to make fraudulent purchases, police said.
