Upper Perkiomen Bird and Wildlife Festival Returns September 24
The 11th annual Upper Perkiomen Bird and Wildlife Festival is coming up, with opportunities to see live animals and learn about nature.
PERKIOMEN VALLEY, PA — Get up close with animals, birds, and butterflies at the 11th annual Upper Perkiomen Bird and Wildlife Festival.
The festival is Saturday, September 24 from 11 a.m.-3 p.m. It's free to attend, and is located at Green Lake Park (2298 Green Lane Road, Green Lane PA 18054).
The festival is presented by Montgomery County Parks, Trails & Historic Sites; the UPV Chamber of Commerce; and Perk-Up.

Activities include:
- Live music from Lost Local Boys
- Animal presentations by The Venom Institute and Barn Nature Center
- Free hay rides
- Bird food, feeders, and supplies
- Food and merchandise vendors
- Kids' games and activities
- Butterfly Tagging: Winged Wonders Monarch Butterflies
- An Eco-Raffle with prizes from local vendors (proceeds benefit Friends of Green Lake Park)
