Ursinus College Outdoor Parade Cancelled, Open House On
The weather won't stop the mission of community togetherness

Dear friends,
Due to the rain, we are obliged to cancel today's "Hometown Come-Together" outdoor parade and festival. That having been said, we have made plans to move the parade and festivities inside the Museum.
Join us at the Museum at 2:30 this afternoon for the Museum's Community Open House, and help us celebrate all of the work we've done for the past several months across the Ursinus and Perkiomen Valley communities to build stronger cooperative and creative bonds. Bring your kids (or parents!), and bring your spirit of fun. And if you or your kids made art to carry in the parade, bring that with you too! There will be food and refreshments, live music and performances -- thanks to students from Perkiomen Valley Middle School East and Ursinus College -- indoor games, community tables, even some photo booth opportunities. Artists from Spiral Q Puppet Theater will be on hand to help us celebrate, as will our newly-inaugurated president and first lady, Bobby and Suzanne Fong.
AND... we pride ourselves on being a community of firsts -- join in the first ever parade through the Berman Museum of Art!
We hope to see you later this afternoon; this may not have been quite what we planned, but a "hometown come-together" it will be, with your participation!
