Do You Know Someone Worthy of Character Counts?

Spring is on its way and so are this year's Character Counts Recognition Awards, which are scheduled for 7 p.m. on Thursday, April 19 in . 

Do you know a Peters Township resident who goes above and beyond while demonstrating the ideals of respect, responsibility and honesty? Peters Township wants to know!

If you said "yes," the Character Counts Committee would like to hear from you. 

PT Character Counts is a community-based character building initiative. PTCC is a collaboration of many community groups including the , the , , the McMurray Rotary Club, local ministerium and PTAs.

This initiative has been the catalyst behind many inspirational and educational programs, and philosophical changes in the community, according to the township's website. The increased attention to character and sportsmanship in youth and interscholastic sports is among the most visible evidence of the initiative.
