Eight Peters Students Commended by National Merit Scholarship Corporation

These students are among 34,000 of the highest scorers on the PSAT/NMSQT and will receive a Letters of Commendation.

Eight students from Peters Township High School have been named Commended Students by the National Merit Scholarship Corporation in the annual National Merit Scholarship Program.

  • Sebastian Hymson
  • Kyle Marshall
  • Alessia Mihok
  • Joseph Ogburn
  • Maria Oldenburg
  • Meredith Rohn

These students are among 34,000 of the highest scorers on the PSAT/NMSQT and will receive a Letters of Commendation in recognition of their outstanding academic promise. Although Commended Students do not continue in the competition for National Merit Scholarships, some of these students do become candidates for Special Scholarships sponsored by corporations and businesses.
