Final Days to Enjoy Greek Food Festival

The annual Greek Food Festival at All Saints Greek Orthodox Church in Canonsburg is under way every day until Saturday, June 8, from 11 a.m. from 9 p.m.

There is live entertainment nightly by bands and youth dance troupes.

But let's be honest, the real attraction is all of that food, made from recipes passed down from local grandmothers and great-grandmothers.

According to the Observer-Reporter, more than 30,000 meals are served during the six-day event, which includes 400 pounds of ground meat for hamburgers, 200 pans of spinach pie and 150 baklava trays.

Other popular menu items include stuffed grape leaves, pastitsio and moussaka.
