Want to join the Trax family? A job opportunity just opened up. Trax is looking for a PT Assistant Receiving Processor to unload, mark and deliver incoming merchandise from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays. Lifting is required, and pay is an hourly rate. Trax will train on use of power jack and forklift. The position is open immediately.Â

Who doesn't love a dodgeball tourny?
Cheer on your teachers at the eighth-annual dodgeball tournament in the gymnasium this Thursday. The fun begins at 6 p.m. and admission is $5. Food and beverages will be available. All proceeds benefit the Make-A-Wish Scholarship Fund.

Tickets will be sold during school hours on Wednesday in the high school athletic office, and in some of the other district schools. Checks can be make payable to Peters Township National Honor Society.
Bella Sera presents Hearts and Jokers
This second-annual event is back by popular demand. The Bella Sera staff says it's all about tasteful comedy and amazing food in an intimate setting. Read all about Friday's event .
Peters natives to perform with Washington Symphony Orchestra
This Saturday at 8 p.m. at Trinity High School in Washington, the Washington Symphony Orchestra presents "Heroes." You'll hear music such as John Williams' "Olympic Fanfare and Theme" and Beethoven's heroic "Eroica."
McKenna Barney, of Venetia, will perform her award-winning Mendelssohn selection that won her the 2011 WSO Young Artist Competition.
A PT mother and son will also perform—Mary McBride is the WSO's principal flute player and her son, Logan—a junior at PTHS—will perform as a violinist.Â
The event promises free parking, great ticket prices and wonderful performances.Â

In the spirit of Valentine, stroll by candlelight
This year's Valentine Candlelight Stroll on the Arrowhead Trail—hosted by the —is scheduled for Monday. The trail will be lit with luminaries and following the walk, patrons will be served hot chocolate. Click for full event details.Â
