Local Students Make Dean's, President's List

Two students from the McMurray area have been awarded for their academic prowess.

Joseph Barbati, of McMurray, was among more than 1,900 students from Wake Forest University who made the fall 2012 dean's List.

In addition, Danielle Castillo, of McMurray, has been named to the president's list at James Madison University for the fall 2012 semester.

Students who earn president's list honors must carry at least 12 graded credit hours and earn a grade point average of 3.9 or higher.

Castillo is a senior whose major is interdisciplinary liberal studies.
