Man Threatens to Kill Mother, Tasered
21-year-old Geoffrey Staley threatened to hit his mother, "kill her and gut her open," according to Peters Township police.

charged a township man with terroristic threats, simple assault and resisting arrest after officers said he threatened to hit his mother, “kill her and gut her open.”
Geoffrey Staley, 21, of 230 Center Church Road, “tore up his home, overturned the kitchen table and failed to comply with police once locked outside by his mother.”
Staley told police he was not scared and ultimately managed to get himself tasered, police said. Police also told Patch that Staley is “probably 6’1, 240-250 pounds.”

He was arraigned before district Judge Ellis Sunday and remanded to the Washington County Jail after being unable to post $25,000 straight bond.
Court dockets show that Staley is scheduled to appear before Ellis for a preliminary hearing at 10 a.m. Nov. 2.
