New MedExpress to Host Pre-Opening Celebration

on Route 19 is set to open Thursday, but is inviting the public for a pre-opening celebration. 

From noon to 2 p.m. Wednesday, residents can mingle, check out the new space and enjoy "heavy hors d'oeuvres." 

A ribbon-cutting ceremony will take place at 1 p.m.

The fully-staffed, 4,500 square-foot center is located in the newly-constructed building at the corner of Route 19 and West McMurray Road—3840 Washington Road, next to the .

It will be open 12 hours a day, seven days a week—9 a.m. to 9 p.m.

The medical center will offer free flu shots (while supplies last) to all patients during its first week, Jan. 26-Feb. 1.

Including the Peters Township location, MedExpress operates 42 locations in Pennsylvania and 77 centers nationwide.
