Peters Man Pleads Guilty To Causing Death Of Infant Son
The infant died after being left in a hot vehicle for hours.
PETERS TOWNSHIP, PA — A Peters man whose infant son died last year after being left in a hot van for hours pleaded guilty Wednesday to involuntary manslaughter and reckless endangerment charges.
Khang Nguyen, 33, was ordered to serve two years probation by Allegheny County Common Pleas Court Judge Jill Rangos, Triblive reported.
Nguyen told police that he forgot that his 3-month-old son was in his vehicle from just before 10 a.m. until after 4:30 p.m. on June 16. Temperatures that day topped 90 degrees.
