A section of Route 88 (Front Street) will be closed at the Railroad Crossing between the intersections of Fishpot Run Drive and Route 2063 (Beallsville Road) in E. Bethlehem Township, Washington County. Work begins on Monday, November 3 and will continue through Wednesday, November 5.
The closure will be in place to allow Norfolk Southern Railway crews to replace tracks and roadway surface. A posted detour will be in place, utilizing Route 88 (Low Hill Road) to Route 43, to Route 40, to Interstate 79 South at Exit 33, to Route 21 East at the Masontown/Waynesburg to Interstate 79 Exit 14, continue on Route 21 to Route 88 (Glade Run Road).
Motorists are reminded to drive with caution and be alert when entering a work zone.
