Big Lots Phoenixville Grand Opening Is This Weekend

PHOENIXVILLE, PA — The grand opening of Big Lots in Phoenixville is finally here, happening Saturday and Sunday at the nearly 30,000-foot store on Schuylkill Road.

Big Lots, Inc. is one of the largest neighborhood discount retailers in the U.S., and shoppers who show up Aug. 28 and 29 can expect doorbuster offers at the store's grand opening, along with scratch-off cards with the potential of up to $250 off a purchase. Big Lots said both offers will be valid throughout the coming grand opening weekend.

The 29,238 sq. ft. store at 270 Schuylkill Road is known for offering bargain deals and surprising finds on everything for the home — including Big Lots exclusive brands like Broyhill furniture and home décor items, plus a variety of products from national brands and an assortment of private labels.

"We're thrilled to be bringing the Big Lots experience to Phoenixville with the opening of our newest location," said Shannon Letts, SVP Real Estate Development at Big Lots.

"We’ve put our most innovative thinking into the layout, design, and visual appeal of the store to elevate the shopper experience and help our customers live bigger and better," Letts added.

Big Lots offers a unique shopping experience — part treasure hunt, part everyday necessities, along with the retailer's special Big Buys — items bought in limited quantities at exceptional prices.

Big Lots said customers looking for additional ways to save big can sign up for BIG Rewards!, a Big Lots loyalty program, for an instant $5 off and other benefits like discounts, birthday surprises, VIP shopping days, free items, and more.

Big Lots stated it "takes the safety of its employees and customers seriously and has implemented a number of procedures in accordance with local protocols to protect the health and well-being of community members in each store," and does so "for shopper peace of mind."

Big Lots has implemented services like contactless curbside pickup, same-day delivery, and Buy Online, Pick Up In-Store through BigLots.com to limit interactions, while still providing friendly customer service and a top-notch shopping experience.
