Ex-Cop Faces Hearing On Sexual Assaults Of 3 Chesco Girls
Fired Delco Officer Tyler Humphreys is accused of sexually assaulting three girls, one of whom was just 9.

CHESTER COUNTY, PA —A 21-year-old Malvern man accused of sexually assaulting three young girls is scheduled for a preliminary hearing on Tuesday, Jan. 23 before District Judge James C. Kovaleski.
Tyler Humphrey is free on $275,000 bail on charges of rape of a child, statutory sexual assault, aggravated indecent assault, and related charges.
Humphreys was fired from his position as a Sharon Hill police officer. He was appointed as a school resource officer at Academy Park High School in Delaware County at the time of his arrest.
School resources officers assist the school administration in maintaining a safe environment.

The first victim was nine years old when she was forced to perform oral sex on Humphreys, who was a juvenile at the time, on numerous occasions in East Whiteland Township, according to state police.
The second victim, a 15-year-old girl, told police that Humphreys provided her with alcohol and raped her while she was unconscious in Charlestown Township, according to police.

The third victim, who was 19 at the time, reported that she was sexually assaulted by the defendant between Nov. 25, 2022, and December 2, 2022, in East Whiteland Township, Chester County, police said. The same woman said abuse also occurred between 2014 through 2018.
