Iodide Tablets For Those Near Limerick Plant
Tablets are available at Kimberton Fire Company, by mail, or at the Chester County Services Center, 601 Westtown Road, West Chester.

CHESTER COUNTY, PA —Chester County Health Department is offering potassium iodide tablets for those who live, work, or attend school within a 10-mile radius of the Limerick Generating Station, Montgomery County.
The tablets are available from 12:30 to 6 p.m. at iodide tablets the Kimberton Fire Company, Covered Bridge Room, 2276 Kimberton Road, Phoenixville, Pa. 19460.
They can also be picked up at the Government Service Center or mailed to your home.

The Health Department holds dispensing events at least once a year.
You can also fill out a form and have the tablets mailed. The form is available here. For assistance contact 610-341-6225.
What do the tablets do?
The tablets help protect the thyroid against the harmful effects of radioactive iodine. They should only be used at the direction of public health officials of Gov. Josh Shapiro.
