PASD Board Election Results

Residents go with who they know in the Phoenixville Area School District board election.

The unofficial (until the results are certified) results of the Phoenixville Area School District Board elections show that all four incumbents who were seeking reelection won their races.  Challenger Lisa Longo whose yard signs identify her as a "Proud Parent" came close in her first run at elected office, falling behind the top four finishers by only 63 votes.

87 votes were cast for write in candidates whose names are not specified in the preliminary ballot tabulations by Chester County Voter Services.

Mike Ellis, a late write-in entrant to the race may have received many of the write-in votes but it is too early to know.  Ellis posted a blog on Patch Friday explaining his decision to enter the race as a write-in candidate.
