PASD Busing Walking Students Friday Morning; School to Start On Time

Temperatures will be brutally cold Friday morning, but PASD classes will start at the normal time.

Phoenixville Area School District will again on Friday provide buses to secondary students who typically walk.

Temperatures will be brutally cold early Friday morning, the National Weather Service said; with the wind chill it will feel like -20. Several other Chester County school districts, including Great Valley and West Chester, made the decision to have delayed openings Friday. But Phoenixville will not be following suit.

“Single-digit temperatures are predicted for most of the morning,” the district said. “With no relief in temperatures expected during the morning, we will start school at the normal time.”
