$2.6M Jackpot-Winning PA Lottery Ticket Unclaimed, Expiring Soon

Someone's $2.6 million-winning Pennsylvania Lottery ticket sold in the Pittsburgh area is on the verge of expiration.

HARRISBURG PA — A $2.6 million jackpot-winning Pennsylvania Lottery ticket sold last year at the Shop 'n Save on William Penn Highway in Murrysville remains unclaimed and will expire soon, lottery officials warned on Monday.

The Cash 5 with Quick Cash ticket for the May 8, 2024 drawing matched all five balls drawn, 14-22-33-35-38, to win the jackpot. A prize claim must be filed with the lottery, either by mail or at a lottery area office, by Thursday, May 8.

Lottery officials encourage claimants to sign the back of the ticket, call the Lottery at 1-800-692-7481, and file a timely claim at any of the lottery’s seven area offices.

By law, unclaimed, expired lottery prizes remain in the lottery fund and are used to support programs benefiting older Pennsylvanians. Although some lotteries give players only 90 or 180 days to claim a prize, Pennsylvania Lottery draw game prizes may be claimed up to one year from the drawing date.
