2 More Charged In Pittsburgh Teen's Easter Shooting Death

Four people now have been charged in connection with the death of a Pittsburgh-area teen last year.

PITTSBURGH, PA — Two more people have been charged in connection to a shooting that killed a Wilkinsburg teen last Easter.

Allegheny County police said Friday that homicide charges have been filed against Omar Campbell, 19, and Euguene Camp, 22. Both men currently are being housed in the county jail.

Kira Jackson, and Alicia Johnson, both 24 and both from Pittsburgh, were charged last year.

Kevin Wilson, 16, was shot on March 31 in the 600 block of Hill Avenue on March 31. He was taken to a nearby hospital, where he died.

Detectives learned there a fight involving two people occurred in front of a residence in the 600 block of Hill Avenue and numerous gunshots were fired near the intersection of Hill Avenue and Hay Street. A total of 15 casings from multiple firearms were recovered from the street following the shooting.

After reviewing surveillance video and conducting witness interviews, detectives arrested Jackson and Johnson. Authorities also determined that Wilson was standing outside a residence on Hill Avenue when the shooting occurred and was not involved with the initial altercation.

Jackson and Johnson were both charged with criminal homicide, aggravated assault and carrying a firearm without a license.
