Christopher Lloyd To Appear In Pittsburgh

PITTSBURGH, PA — Christopher Lloyd, the comedic actor who has been amusing people for a half-century, is coming to Pittsburgh.

Steel City Con announced Friday that Lloyd will appear at its next convention, which will occur April 4-6 at the Monroeville Convention Center.

Lloyd's better known roles include:

• The eccentric and drug-using cab driver Jim Ignatowski in the sitcom "Taxi" in the 1970s.

• Klingon Commander Kruge in 1984's "Star Trek III: The Search for Spock."

• Inventor Emmett "Doc" Brown in the "Back to the Future" trilogy.

• Judge Doom in 1988's "Who Framed Roger Rabbit."

• Uncle Fester in "The Addams Family" (1991) and "Addams Family Values" (1993).

Lloyd, 86, is scheduled to attend all three days of the convention, according to Steel City Con.
