Dormont Street And Music Festival: What You Need To Know

DORMONT, PA — Details have been released on the 15th annual Dormont Street and Music Festival, which will occur on Oct. 14 from 1 p.m.-8 p.m. The celebration will feature live music and local food and craft vendors.

Potomac Avenue will be closed from West Liberty Avenue to Belrose Avenue for the event.

This year, the fair will have three live music performance areas. Among those performing:

The Arsenal Cider main stage will feature a full lineup of local talent including Big Fat Mallard, School of Rock, Moonshine Jasmine, Noah Goisse and Rocktober Memories. Dormont’s own Joe Grushecky will headline the main stage at approximately 7:15 p.m.

The second performance tent will be located on Potomac Avenue by West Liberty Avenue and will feature Dre-K 47, the Three Rivers Jazz Quintet, One Eye Daddys, Anne Eliza and Capital Punishment.

The third performance area will be all-acoustic sets in the Arsenal Cider Brew Garden on Espy Ave. and will feature Presley Norris, Jocelyn Rent, DoMeNic, Scott Moore, Donna O, Guitar Zack Solo Act and Brandon Payne. Arsenal Cider Brew Garden will feature local brews.

The Borough of Dormont Recreation Board Kidzone on Glenmore Ave. will have a special GoExploreCreate public art project, as well as make and take craft, a Dormont Fire Department touch a truck, and more.

Local food and craft vendors will set up on Potomac Ave. Ray Ryan New Orleans Band will also be making it way up and down Potomac Avenue as well as other talented street performers throughout the event.
