Flood Advisory Issued For Pittsburgh
The National Weather Service is warning of river flooding in Pittsburgh.

PITTSBURGH, PA — Prompted by the weekend's snow and excessive rainfall, the National Weather Service has issued a flood advisory for the Ohio River in Pittsburgh until 7 p.m. Tuesday.
The river is expected to crest at 20 feet. To put that number into perspective:
- At 18 feet, water begins to flow onto the Monongahela Parking Wharf.
- At 19 feet, water begins to flow onto the North Shore Riverwalk between PNC Park and Acrisure Stadium.
- At 19.5 feet, the Monongahela Parking Wharf is completely flooded.
- At 20 feet, water is up to one foot deep in the lower areas of the riverwalk.
- At 22 feet, the Tenth Street Bypass floods.
A flood watch remains in effect through this evening for Allegheny, Washington, Westmoreland, Beaver, Fayette and Greene counties.
