Giant Eagle, Steelers Extend Heinz Field Vaccination Clinic

PITTSBURGH, PA — Giant Eagle's coronavirus clinic at Heinz Field will be extended to March 8 and 9, with appointments becoming available Friday afternoon.

Pennsylvania currently is in Phase 1A of the vaccine program. Those eligible to be vaccinated
include people in long-term care facilities, health care personnel, people over 65, people aged 16-64 with high-risk medical conditions and teachers.

More than 4,000 people received their first dose of the vaccine at Heinz Field this week. The clinic is a joint effort between Giant Eagle and the Pittsburgh Steelers.
