WEST MIFFLIN, PA — Kennywood once again is receiving national recognition, this time once more being nominated for two USA Today 10Best Readers' Choice Awards whose winners are determined in a readers' poll.
Kennywood has been nominated again for Best Amusement Park the Phantom's Revenge has been nominated for best coaster in the country. For the few who might be unitiated, the Phantom's Revenge contains a 232-foot drop and reaches speeds of 85 mph.
Kennywood and the coaster both placed in the top 10 in their respective award categories last year.

Votes for Kennywood Park can be cast here and votes for the Phantom Revenge coaster can be cast here. Those interested in casting their votes can vote once per day through Monday, April 21.
Kennywood, which last week announced that it is being sold to Atlanta-based Herschend, will officially reopen for its longest season ever on Saturday, April 12 (412Day).
