PITTSBURGH, PA — A complex weather system moving toward Western Pennsylvania has caused the National Weather Service to trigger Winter Weather Advisories and Ice Storm Warnings for most of the region.

Pittsburgh is under a Winter Weather Advisory from 7 p.m. this evening until 6 a.m. Thursday. Freezing rain expected is expected, with ice accumulations from a glaze to a tenth of an inch. Less than an inch of snow is also possible.

The weather service warns that the storm could begin early enough to impact the evening commute. Plan on slippery road conditions.
