PITTSBURGH, PA — A Pittsburgh road project will impact 40,000 motorists daily until the end of the year.

The Allegheny County Department of Public Works announced Wednesday that lane closures on Browns Hill Road between Beechwood Boulevard-Hazelwood Avenue and the Homestead Grays Bridge in Pittsburgh will start on Aug. 18 and will not conclude until December.

County officials said the lane closures are necessary for extensive concrete roadway and joint repairs, drainage improvements, and curb replacement.
